Our Causes
Youth Development
The Philly Made Us Foundation is committed to fostering the development of young individuals in our community. Our Youth Mentorship Program is designed to address core issues that affect our youth, providing them with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive.
The Employment Preparation Training Program is a four-week program that aims to help you improve your resume, learn Microsoft Office skills, find job opportunities, and practice your interviewing skills. The program is designed for people who are looking for a new job or want to advance their career. The program is offered by the Philly Made Us Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides free employment assistance to the community.
Workforce Development
In partnership with C-Tech Associates Inc., the Philly Made Us Foundation presents a 3-month Hands-On Technology educational program designed for training and certification, focused on workforce development. These C-Tech-led sessions are crafted to actively involve students, preparing them for job opportunities in the field. Instructors are fully equipped with all necessary resources, including a well-structured curriculum, comprehensive lesson plans, interactive workstations, and training to enhance their professional development.
Hunger Preventive Services
Hunger preventive services are essential initiatives aimed at combating food insecurity and ensuring that individuals and families have consistent access to nutritious food. These services encompass a wide range of programs and strategies designed to address the root causes of hunger, improve food distribution systems, and support vulnerable populations.
Homelessness Support
The Philly Made US Foundation is dedicated to preventing homelessness and assisting families in need by helping them secure housing. We focus on supporting low-income families in the Montgomery County area. Our mission is to provide comprehensive aid to ensure that these families can find and maintain stable housing.
When tragedy strikes and a loved one is lost, the emotional toll can be insurmountable. In addition to the grief, families often face the daunting burden of financial expenses associated with funeral costs and other end-of-life arrangements. Philly Made, a compassionate and dedicated organization, steps in to provide much-needed support during these difficult times.
